This Week in Cybersecurity

Nathaniel Gleicher,

Find me on:

Four things I'm reading this week:

4 Things In Cyber

  1. Federal Government Issues Open Source Policy: All custom code developed within the federal government must be made available to other agencies for reuse, and a pilot program requires 20 percent of new custom code to be released as open-source software. I’m reading: “The White House releases policy to help government agencies go open source.”

  2. For Major Transportation Disruption, Watch Trucking: We’ve focused on the development of automated cars, but what about trucks? Automated trucks (which are being road tested now) will completely transform the trucking industry, which employs 3.5 million people in the United States. I’m reading: “This is the first road-legal big rig that can drive itself.”
