Deloitte Recognizes Illumio as a Tech Fast 500 Winner

This week, Deloitte announced their Technology Fast 500 list, and for the first time Illumio was included on this prestigious list. The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 recognizes the fastest growing technology companies based on percentage fiscal-year revenue growth over the last three years. We are honored to be included on this list alongside other exceptional and innovative technology leaders.

2020 has been a challenging year for many people and organizations. In March, seemingly overnight, the world changed with no warning or playbook. Eight months later, here we are, with many of us still working on a laptop sitting at home. This new operating model made it clear that cybersecurity is synonymous with business resiliency. Each year the cybersecurity market has continued to grow and, despite the unexpected changes in the world, 2020 has been no exception.

Since we founded Illumio in 2013, we have been driven by our mission to help our customers realize a future without high-profile breaches. Our belief has always been that if we focus on our mission, deliver great software and delight our customers we’ll build a very successful company as a result. Although this recognition is based on revenue growth, it is also an important validation that Zero Trust and segmentation have become critical pillars of cybersecurity and Illumio has emerged as the definitive leader in the market.

To further our mission and bring Illumio to the market even more aggressively going forward, earlier this year we brought on Jim Love as our first chief revenue officer to help us continue to grow and scale our business globally. We have also made significant investments in the channel and federal markets and will be expanding into new geographies in 2021. Our partnerships with the channel have been key to Illumio’s rapid growth and will continue to be an important focus of our go-to-market strategy going forward.

Since the very beginning of our journey, the most important voice in the room has always been the customer. Over a year ago we heard loud and clear that our customers wanted to take Illumio beyond the workload, allowing them to bring Zero Trust to the endpoint as well. Based on customer feedback, this July we brought to market Illumio Edge and Illumio Edge with CrowdStrike, allowing our customers to easily and efficiently stop the spread of ransomware. In partnership with CrowdStrike, now any CrowdStrike customer can enable Illumio Edge without deploying any new software, delivering better security with no additional operational overhead. The CrowdStrike partnership is a great example of expanding our value to our customers and partners in innovative ways, while helping to expand our growth opportunities.
