Illumio’s Certified Services Delivery Partner Program Names Its First Members

We’re excited to announce the new Illumio Certified Delivery Partner Program. Our partners can now be certified to deploy and consult on Illumio in real-world environments. With the new program, partners will be able to establish and grow an Illumio practice.

We congratulate four IBM team members, Greg Tkaczyk, Jason Kay, Ben Schiff, and Alex McCreary, as the first to achieve Specialist level certification in the new program. They are actively working towards the final Expert level.

What is the Illumio Certified Delivery Partner Program?

Partners can achieve two levels of certification with the program:

  • Illumio Services Specialist certifies partner practitioners to deploy and consult on projects in up to 1,000 workload environments.
  • Illumio Services Expert certifies partner practitioners to deploy and consult on projects in any size workload environment.

The Services Specialist certification process consists of self-paced training available through the Illumio Partner Portal, a proctored exam by the Illumio training team, and requires the partner to lead at least one real-world Illumio deployment which will mentored and assessed by the Illumio PS Channel team. Throughout the deployment, Illumio PS will conduct workshops following Illumio best practices.

Expert level certification requires that the partner to achieve the Specialist level before working towards the final Expert level. Upon completion and assessment of a large-scale deployment (at least 5,000 workloads), partners will be equipped with the knowledge of an in-house Illumio Professional Services team member.

Why should Illumio partners get certified?

As the leader in Zero Trust Segmentation, organizations of all sizes, geographies, and industries are seeking out Illumio solutions as part of their Zero Trust architecture. By achieving the Illumio Services certifications, our partners can guide customers to test, deploy, and maintain Illumio solutions. The certifications are an important differentiator, helping our partners enhance their offerings and drive customer success.
