Illumio Achieves 400 Percent Bookings Growth in 2016

Security leader captures increasing customer demand for data center and cloud segmentation as a core cybersecurity strategy

SUNNYVALE, Calif.— February 13, 2017 — Illumio announced the company’s fourth anniversary and 400 percent year-over-year bookings growth during its second year in market. As organizations increasingly focus on securing the interior of their data centers and cloud compute environments amid an evolving enterprise cybersecurity environment, many of the world’s most trusted brands have turned to Illumio for its adaptive segmentation software. This includes nine of the largest 15 financial institutions in the U.S., and four of the top seven global Software-as-a-Service companies.

“2016 was the year Illumio arrived as a trusted technology partner for our customers and became recognized as an industry leader for our innovation in adaptive segmentation,” said Andrew Rubin, co-founder and CEO of Illumio. “With rising demand for our segmentation capabilities, it’s clear CISOs and CIOs at the world’s largest organizations see a new opportunity for their data center and cloud security. Our goal is to build Illumio’s incredible momentum and technology assets into the new cybersecurity foundation for every business.”
