Illumiverse Labs: Get Hands-On With Breach Containment in Our Live Virtual Experience Events
What would you do if an attacker started moving laterally across your environment right now? Illumiverse Labs lets you step into that scenario — and practice containing it before itspreads.
Join us for February Illumiverse Labs, our hands-on experience for security teams who want to learn by doing.
See what breach containment looks like in practice. Inside the lab, practitioners can watch attacks unfold, explore response options, and see how their choices affect outcomes in real time.
Startign Feb. 18, Illumio is opening Illumiverse Labs with live Breach Containment Virtual Experiences for practitioners across EMEA, APAC, the Americas. These sessions are built to help teams turn visibility into action when it matters most.
Mark your calendars
Illumiverse Labs is hosting three live sessions in February, tailored for different regions and time zones.
The EMEA Virtual Experience is on February 18 at 3:00–4:00 PM GMT. The session will be led by Illumio experts Michael Adjei, director of systems engineering for EMEA, and Nick Ross, senior sales engineer for EMEA. Register today.
The APAC Virtual Experience is on February 19 at 2:00–3:00 PM AEDT. The session will be led by Illumio experts Andrew Kay, senior director of sales engineering for APJ, and Louis Cheung, principal sales engineer. Register today.
The Americas Virtual Experience also runs on February 19 at 12:00–1:00 PM EST. The session features Illumio experts Rachna Srivastava, senior product marketing manager, and Andrew Houchin, senior sales engineer. Register today.
All sessions follow the same hands-on format and focus on showing how to detect lateral movement and contain a breach before it spreads.

What to expect from the Illumiverse Labs
Illumiverse Labs sessions are built around live, guided experiences.
You’re not just watching someone else click through a demo environment. You’re following along, asking questions, and seeing how decisions change outcomes in real time.
During the session, you’ll walk through breach scenarios that mirror what security teams deal with every day using real attack signals — identifying malicious IPs, pinpointing risky RDP traffic paths, and surfacing top data-exfiltration sources using live telemetry. You’ll also see how attackers move laterally, where traditional controls fall short, and how segmentation with Illumio limits the blast radius before a situation escalates.
You’ll also get direct guidance from Illumio experts who work with customers on breach containment challenges across hybrid multi-cloud environments.
After the live session, participants get access to a personal sandbox environment for 14 days. That time gives you space to explore Illumio breach containment on your own. Test ideas and see how the concepts translate to environments that look more like yours.
Breach containment: the missing layer
Modern security teams can see more than ever, yet breaches still turn into outages.
That’s because detection alone doesn’t stop an attack. Once an attacker gets inside, the real risk comes from lateral movement. They move between systems, follow trusted connections, and expand access faster than teams can respond.
Most security tools weren’t built to stop that phase of an attack. They help teams investigate and understand what happened, but they rely on manual steps to limit spread.
By the time controls are applied, the damage is often already done.
Breach containment closes this gap. It limits what an attacker can reach by controlling how systems communicate and enforcing least privilege across the environment. Instead of chasing alerts, teams can focus on stopping spread and protecting critical assets.
With containment in place, incidents don’t have to become outages. Teams can isolate risk, keep systems running, and regain control faster.
That’s why breach containment has become essential to modern security, and why it’s the layer many stacks are still missing.
See breach containment in action
Security teams get better at handling incidents with practice. Illumiverse Labs gives practitioners a chance to step into realistic breach scenarios, test responses, and understand how containment changes the outcome of an attack.
If breach containment is a priority for your organization, these hands-on virtual experiences are worth your time. Join us in February, bring your questions into the lab, and see how containment works when it’s built into your breach response.
