Introducing EPIC: Illumio’s New Partner Technical Champion Program

That’s why we’re thrilled to announce EPIC, Illumio’s new Partner Technical Champion Program.  

EPIC stands for “Excellence through Partner Innovation and Competency.” It’s our way of recognizing and empowering the standout engineers and consultants across our partner ecosystem.

EPIC members are a key part of Illumio’s partner ecosystem. They’re helping to accelerate customer deployment and advocate for smarter segmentation strategies that contain breaches before they spread.

Our partners are at the heart of the Illumio story. And within every great partner organization, there are those who go above and beyond. They evangelize our solutions and drive results not just for their business but for their customers.

The EPIC program is about finding those people, celebrating them, and giving them the platform and tools to do even more.

EPIC is a curated community of top-tier partner engineers and consultants who are passionate about Illumio Segmentation and committed to building deep technical competency.

What makes an EPIC member?

EPIC members are the best and brightest engineers in the Illumio partner ecosystem. Being an EPIC member requires a high level of Illumio competency achieved through completing certifications, but also a passion for our innovative technology.

EPIC members are nominated by Illumio employees and reviewed by the Illumio Partner Leadership Team.  

We’re looking for partner engineers who are:

• Highly technically skilled, either in pre-sales or post-sales motions
• Passionate about Illumio and Zero Trust
• Deeply engaged with our teams
• Eager to contribute feedback and ideas that help shape our products and programs

They’ve completed advanced training, gotten certified through our partner enablement path, and have real-world experience deploying and supporting Illumio.

In short, they’re the ones you want in your corner when you’re facing your toughest segmentation challenges.

How to become an EPIC member

The path to becoming an EPIC member starts with Illumio’s technical enablement journey, whether that’s through our pre-sales or post-sales training programs.  

Once certified, a partner engineer can be nominated by an internal Illumineer and reviewed for EPIC membership.

We’re kicking off our first cohort now, and we’ll be reviewing nominations on a quarterly basis moving forward. If you know someone who fits the bill — or if that someone is you — now’s the time to raise your hand.
