Strengthening cyber resilience
CRN's five-star designation recognized Illumio's global partner program for industry-leading technology that provides a needed layer of protection for defense-in-depth.
“Partners are a critical part of the Zero Trust ecosystem to help our joint customers build the right processes and technology to solve the ever-increasing need for cyber resilience," says Jennifer Johnson, Illumio's chief marketing officer.
Johnson went on to thank Illumio’s partners and CRN for recognizing the rising importance of Zero Trust Segmentation as a foundational cybersecurity strategy.
Investing where it counts
Companies with well-developed partner ecosystems view the channel as a "force multiplier" for their sales teams. They want to make it easy — and profitable — for partners to do business with them. That just means more success for both parties.
Supporting partners to do just this was a major, company-wide initiative in 2021 where Illumio focused on becoming as "frictionless" as possible. This meant building a partner program that included:

"The foundation of a strong partner program is a company's commitment to the channel," explains Rebekah McAdams, Illumio's global director of channel marketing. "At Illumio, we take seriously the role the channel plays in our business. Over the past year, we have more than doubled our investment in our partner ecosystem globally to ensure our partners have the tools needed to be an extension of the Illumio team."
Trust plus investment equals success
CRN's 5-star rating comes on the heels of Illumio's announcement of a first-of-its-kind managed service provider (MSP) program designed to help small and medium-sized businesses reduce the risk of ransomware attacks and other breaches.
Moreover, Illumio isn’t just trying to grow the size of its partner community. It’s looking for "strategic partners in arms," including key partners in every region and territory, every industry and market segment.
