1. Illumio is a Leader in 2 Forrester Waves
According to Forrester, Illumio “is the choice for organizations wanting predictable microsegmentation at scale.”

2. Zero Trust Impact Report proves Zero Trust ROI
ESG’s recent Zero Trust Impact Report highlighted the importance of prioritizing Zero Trust when building out a modern cybersecurity strategy. In fact, their research found that 90% of organizations are focused on advancing Zero Trust initiatives.

3. Illumio announces Illumio Endpoint
Illumio Endpoint was released as a new solution extending ZTS to end-user devices. It stops endpoint ransomware from spreading across the hybrid attack surface so that the first device that gets infected is also the last.
The expansion to Illumio Endpoint marked Illumio’s transition to being a multi-product company, paving the way for more exciting releases in the future.
4. Bishop Fox: Illumio ZTS stops ransomware in 10 minutes
Red team specialists from Bishop Fox conducted emulated attacks to measure the effectiveness of Illumio Core against active ransomware threats.
The emulation found that ZTS stops attacks from spreading nearly 4 times faster than standard detection and response capabilities alone – in less than 10 minutes. 7. New technology partnerships
Illumio announced several joint solutions with key technology partners in 2022, including Armis, Appgate, and Cylera. These partnerships aim to help customers reduce risk and build resilience to cyberattacks across different environments.
8. Channel recognition and momentum

Illumio named Mario Espinoza as chief product officer and Gary Barlet as federal field chief technology officer in 2022.
Mario brings almost two decades of experience in network, cloud, and data security as he looks to lead Illumio’s product strategy and management. And Gary brings nearly 3 decades in the U.S. federal government leading security and IT teams for multiple agencies, including the Department of Defense.
10. Record performance for all top-line metrics
Despite recent economic uncertainty, Illumio’s fourth quarter delivered record performance for all top-line metrics, with bookings of over $100 million. The company added its largest number of new customers and the highest amount of net new annual contract value (NNACV) in company history in a single quarter.
Illumio’s customer base now includes approximately 20% of the Fortune 100, and the company’s gross retention rate increased during the year to 97%. These metrics are a strong reflection of the risk reduction and ransomware mitigation that Illumio ZTS is delivering to organizations worldwide.
